Environmental attributes:

Viscoride track surfaces is an environmentally friendly product, combining consistent performance with health and safety factors. Laboratory test results are available from tests carried out by the Australian Environmental Laboratories and the France Galop.These tests were performed as part of the feasibility study when the ViscoRide track was installed at Ascot, Perth and at Deauville in France. All Viscoride components meet all of the specified Environment and Protection Agencies’ requirements.

Toxicity attributes:

Viscoride surfaces is a completely safe surface, manufactured from non- hazardous, non-toxic materials and could be disposed of as clean fill. There are no harmful ingredients in ViscoRide that will leech out into the ground or cause environmental contamination.

Odour and colour:

There are no offensive odours present in ViscoRide tracks. To date we are not aware of any horses experiencing allergic reaction to our surface. The bulk of ViscoRide consists of natural sand, bound with inoffensive binder and fibre and is not known to react with any life form. The colour depends on the colour of the sand and varies from cream to light
brown.
